A word from our shop manager…
I was fortunate enough to be appointed Manager of the WCWT shop in November 2017. We have a wonderful team of dedicated volunteers, who have made me feel very welcome and who generously give their time to ensure our shop is an enticing place, where customers can enjoy browsing the interesting and stylish donations we receive.
We are very lucky to receive an eclectic mix of beautiful donations, anything from antiques to fashion, from books to DVDs, from fine china to children’s toys. It’s endless! We always enjoy receiving people’s donations, particularly when they are in excellent condition and often receive clothes still bearing their original tags.
We are not able to take large furniture, but small coffee tables sell very well and taller cabinets can double up as display cases while awaiting purchase. We also always need nice necklaces and good books by popular authors.
The more expensive items we often put on Facebook or eBay to sell to ensure we receive as much money as possible to enable the charity to continue its excellent work, caring for cats and looking for their forever homes. This is, after all, why we all work so hard in the shop and it’s great that customers can pick up a fabulous bargain while supporting our charity.
The images here are only an example of the kinds of items we have in stock, for the latest new arrivals please see our Facebook page.
If you have any items for donation, but are unable to bring them to the shop yourself, do please give us a call 07594 184432 or email and we will be delighted to collect from your home.
Why not pop in soon and see what you can find? We’re open Monday to Friday 9:30am – 4:00pm and Saturday morning 9.30am – 1:00pm and would be delighted to see you.
