Cats In Our Care

Last updated: 19th December 2025

We will be closed from 5pm on Friday 19th December, until 9am on  Friday 2nd January, to enable our hard-working team to take a well-deserved rest.

If you’re looking to adopt a cat, please submit your application form to us in the usual way.  A team member will get back to you after the festive break.

This page offers a snapshot of the cats we currently have in our care, waiting for loving homes.

It’s regularly updated but the situation changes quickly and information is current on the day of posting – and is subject to change.

Even if one of these cats doesn’t catch your eye, the rehoming situation is fluid and we constantly have new cats becoming available, of all ages and temperaments.

Please do apply anyway, via the online form on the adoptions’ process page, and we will work with you to find you a great match.

If your application relates to kittens, please mark this on your application form as they aren’t usually advertised.

For a better understanding of the way we work please visit the Adoption Process page. You can also contact Adoptions on 07376 644085 (between 9am-5pm) or at [email protected].

Niko

Male
4 years

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: Niko is a 4-year-old adventurer with a sensitive heart. He’s blossomed beautifully in foster care and has shown himself to be a fairly playful little cat. He’ll need a patient adopter who will give him time to settle in and then enjoy the outdoors in a safe space, well away from busy roads. Niko prefers a quiet, adult-only home without other pets. Once he trusts you, you’ll see just how sweet this little guy can be.

See Niko on video in our Cats On Camera section.

Dusty

Male
4 years

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: When Dusty first arrived in foster care he was shy and nervous, but thanks to the patience and love of his fosterer, his wonderful personality is now beginning to shine through.

He’s naturally affectionate and quietly curious; happiest when he can keep you company without being the centre of attention.

Despite appearing not to be a lap cat at first, Dusty now spends his evenings sitting on his fosterer’s knee. He enjoys a gentle stroke and can be tempted into play when he’s in the mood.

Dusty would suit a calm home without other pets, and could live happily as either an indoor cat (with enough space) or outdoors. Older children (11+) who understand when he needs space would be ideal.

Could you be the one to give Dusty the happy forever-home he deserves?

See Dusty on video in our Cats On Camera section.

Brook

Male
7 years

Status: Available (DUR)

Bio: Brook is a lovely cat, aged 7, who enjoys both affection and playtime, especially when toys are involved. He’s a gentle soul who may be a little shy to begin with, but once he gets to know you, his affectionate and playful nature truly shines.

Brook would be happy in a home with children aged 8 and over, as long as they are kind and respectful. He would prefer to be the only pet, where he can have all the attention to himself.

He’ll also need access to a safe garden away from busy roads, where he can stretch his legs and enjoy some outdoor time once he’s settled in.

Could you offer Brook the loving home he so deserves?

Midge

Female
3.5 years

Status: Available (DUR)

Bio: Midge is a beautiful black cat with a soft, semi-long coat and a gentle nature. She enjoys affection and loves a bit of fuss, but will need some time and patience to settle into her new home and feel completely at ease.

She would like to be the only pet, where she can have all the love and attention to herself. Midge can live happily with children aged 5 and over, as long as they’re calm and respectful.

Once she’s comfortable, Midge will make a wonderful companion who enjoys both company and a bit of independence. She’ll also need access to a safe garden, where she can explore and enjoy the outdoors when she’s ready.

Could you give lovely Midge the caring forever home she’s been waiting for?

Luna

Female
5 years

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: Luna is a cat with character in every whisker. She’s expressive, lively, and full of charm; always ready to greet you at the door and share her thoughts about absolutely everything. Confident around people, she forms strong bonds and is looking for that special someone to become her person.

Playtime, exploring, and mealtimes are all high on her list of priorities, but nothing beats a good grooming session. A cosy evening pamper on the sofa would suit her perfectly.

As a classic tortie, Luna has a spicy streak. She can be a little “hissy missy” at times, and her claws may make the occasional appearance when she feels misunderstood. Because of this, she’s best suited to an experienced cat owner who knows how to respect feline boundaries and appreciates a cat with plenty of personality.

Luna needs a calm, child-free home where she can enjoy her space, her routines, and her independence. She could possibly live with a calm dog, but have not yet been tested with another feline friend. Once settled, she’ll also need safe outdoor access, away from busy roads.

If you’re looking for a companion with spark, spirit, and a whole lot of tortie attitude, Luna might just be your perfect match.

Enid

Female
2.5 years

Status: Available (LAN)

Bio: Enid is an adorable, friendly girl with a lovely nature and a super cute personality. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and settled, her affectionate side quickly shines through.

She’d be best suited to a home with older, gentle children (8+) who can give her the space and patience she needs at the beginning. With slow and careful introductions, Enid may also be able to live with another calm cat or a friendly dog whose temperament matches her own.

Once comfortable, Enid enjoys company and would love a home where she can relax indoors and also have access to a safe garden for exploring when she’s ready.

If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who just needs a little time to blossom, Enid might be the perfect match.
