Cats In Our Care

Ava
Status: Available (FOS)
Bio: 2-year-old Ava came to us as a stray so we don’t know very much about her. She’s currently in a foster home and took a long time to come out of her shell.
She needs a quiet environment with patient humans who will give her plenty of time to settle in, so if there are children at home they need to be over 13; and she needs to be an only pet.
She likes pets and nuzzles but on her own terms. She’s become more and more chatty as time has gone on, and loves to play with her toys – she’s also terribly nosy and likes to get into everybody’s business!

Hero
Status: Reserved (FOS)
Bio: 8-year-old Hero took a dislike to the family dogs and would not come in the house, so his
owners had to make the hard decision to find him a new home.
He is a lovely boy with a very sweet nature and is now ready for his forever home.
Hero can live with other cats, but no dogs please.
Luna
Status: Reserved (FOS)
Bio: 6-year-old Luna is a lovely, independent cat, who is affectionate on her own terms. She needs humans who will be respectful of her space.
She would be best suited to a calm household with no children or other animals.
Kitkit & Gucci
Status: Available (FOS)
Bio: 10-year-old Kitkit (male, top) and 7-year-old Gucci (female) are a lovely pair, who are now ready for their forever home after spending some time with one of our wonderful foster families.
Gucci can be a bit shy to start but once settled she will show how loving she can be.
They can live with older children, as the only pets in the home.

Sophie & Tabby
Status: Available (FOS)
Bio: A loveable bonded pair- Sophie (black, female) is six years old and Tabby (male) is eight.
Sophie is demure and takes time to come out of herself with newcomers, but soon melts into a sweet, mellow little soul. Tabby is very friendly and engaging from the outset. Both are gentle and very clean.
Previous owner reluctantly passed them to us, due to her deteriorating eyesight, which made caring for them impossible.
They will make a lovely addition to a quiet, sympathetic household.

Marmalade
Status: Available (DUR)
Bio: 1-year-old Marmalade was found living as a stray, and despite numerous appeals no-one came forward to claim him.
He doesn’t seem to have had a lot of human interaction and although he can be affectionate, he can also be cheeky sometimes!
Marmalade will need someone with time and patience to let him settle in on his own terms.
He needs to be the only pet in the home, but can live with children over the age of 8.
Lucy
Status: Available (DUR)
Bio: 6-year-old Lucy is a sweet girl, but gets worried easily.
She needs a calm, understanding home that can give her plenty of time to settle.
Lucy needs an adult-only home, without other pets.
Alfie & April
Status: Available (LAN)
Bio: 4-month-old Alfie (black, male) and April (tabby, female) were born outside so missed that important early socialising with humans.
However, they are coming on really well and will need a calm home where someone can continue socialising and bringing them round.
Alfie has a cloudy eye with probably no sight. At the moment it needs no treatment although his new owners will need to continue to monitor that throughout his life.
They are usual crazy kittens, full of play, rough and tumble and getting into everything!
Alfie and April could live with older children, as the only pets in the home.
Zeus
Status: Available (ARL)
Bio: 2-year-old Zeus loves going outside, playing and cuddling all in equal measure.
He is as affectionate as he is good looking and will curl up with you for hours.
His contented (but loud!) purr will be heard as soon as you touch him, but his hunter quickly comes out when there are toys around!
Zeus needs to be the only pet in the home, and he can live with older children.

Pansy
Status: Available (ARL)
Bio: Pansy just turned 14 and is in good health. She is a friendly, sweet little soul, who loves to snuggle up, but on her own terms. She isn’t keen on being picked up.
She has not lived with other pets this last decade and has no experience of dogs, though likes chasing foxes out of her garden!
She needs regular access to the outdoors, but happily uses her litter tray when necessary.
Pansy has been used to a quiet, mature home and needs the same again in the future.
Pansy will be covered by our Golden Oldies scheme.
Ozzy
Status: Available (DUR)
Bio: 13-year old Ozzy is a cute old boy who was handed in as stray at the vets. Sadly, whilst his owners were located he was not longer wanted.
He is such a lovely lad, very affectionate and loves his food!
He can live with children, as the only pet in the home.
Ozzy will be covered by our Golden Oldies scheme.
Saffie
Status: Available (DUR)
Bio: 3-year old Saffie was very stressed in her previous home and her owners had to make the hard decision to find her another home.
She is a beautiful and affectionate girl who loves a fuss and human attention.
Saffie can live with children, as the only pet in the home.
Ted & Tia
Status: Available (DUR)
Bio: 12-week- old siblings Ted (left) and Tia are a sweet pair of kittens who were abandoned with their mum in a box on a doorstep.
After a lot of love and care they are now ready for their forever home where they can flourish and receive all the love and attention they deserve.
Ted & Tia can live with children, and should be ok with other pets, if introduced correctly.
Rain
Status: Available (DUR)
Bio: 1-year-old Rain came into our care when his owners had to move abroad and could not take him with them.
He is playful, loving and affectionate and needs lots of human interaction and attention. Just a lovely young lad who wants a fuss!
Rain needs to be the only pet in the household, and he can live with children over the age of 6.
Isla & Ivy
Status: Available (DUR)
Bio: 5-year-old sisters Isla (with black patches) and Ivy came into our care because unfortunately their owner had to go into care home, they were very much loved and were great company.
They are a bit shy and timid around strangers but soon show their loving, affectionate personalities, once they have time to settle.
They need a caring and patient adopter who is willing to let them come around in their own time.
Isla & Ivy need to be the only pets in the home, and they can live with children over the age of 10.
