Cats In Our Care

Last updated: 18th May 2026

This page offers a snapshot of the cats we currently have in our care, waiting for loving homes.

It’s regularly updated but the situation changes quickly and information is current on the day of posting – and is subject to change.

Even if one of these cats doesn’t catch your eye, the rehoming situation is fluid and we constantly have new cats becoming available, of all ages and temperaments.

Please do apply anyway, via the online form on the Adoption Process page, and we will work with you to find you a great match.

If your application relates to kittens, please mark this on your application form as they aren’t usually advertised.

For a better understanding of the way we work please visit the Adoption Process page. You can also contact Adoptions on 07376 644085 (between 9am-5pm) or at [email protected].

Jess

Female
5 years

Status: Available (LAN)

Bio: Meet beautiful 5-year-old Jess. She is a little reserved at first but once she gets to know you and gains her confidence, she is a friendly, loving young cat and would make a lovely companion.

She’s had a lot of changes in her life and is looking for a calm, stable home with a patient owner who will give her the time to settle and
show her true nature.

She would prefer to be the only pet in an adult-only household, or one with older, calm teenagers, and would like a garden to explore
away from busy roads.

Can you give Jess the loving home she so
deserves?

Lola

Female
5 years

Status: Available (LAN)

Bio: Are you a committed, experienced cat owner who’d be prepared to give this lovely cat a chance?

Aged 5, Lola is a friendly, sociable girl for much of the time but in the past, she’s displayed some unpredictable behaviour.

After extensive work to pinpoint the flashpoints, one of our amazing vets has identified spinal issues, which made her sensitive to touch and handling. She’s now on medication* and is much calmer and happier.

We’re looking for an adult-only home, where Lola can be the only pet, or she could possibly live with cat-friendly dogs.

She’ll need her own space – and will need to go out, once she’s settled in.

Like to find out more? Please email [email protected] – we are looking for a fosterer, who will be prepared to adopt if all goes well.

*All medication costs are covered by WCWT.

Dexter

Male
9 months

Status: Available (LAN)

Bio: Dexter is a lovely young boy who is still finding his confidence. He can be shy when first meeting new people or settling into a new environment, but once he feels safe he shows just how affectionate and friendly he can be.

He would be best suited to a home with older children (8+) who can give him time and allow him to settle at his own pace. Dexter hasn’t been fully tested with other animals, but with careful, gradual introductions he may be able to live with another cat of a similar age and temperament, and possibly a calm dog.

Dexter will need access to a garden away from busy roads, where he can explore once he’s comfortable in his new home.

With patience, kindness, and a little time, Dexter will make a wonderful companion.

Leo

Male
3 years

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: Leo is a very handsome tabby boy who is now ready to find his forever home. As a former stray, Leo had to cope on his own for some time, which has given him a strong character. Since coming into foster care, he has truly blossomed in the safety and stability of a home environment.

With the support of his fosterer, Leo has grown into a confident, friendly, and affectionate cat who enjoys human company and attention. He has shown how well he can thrive once he feels secure.

Due to his history, Leo would be best suited as an only pet. He may be able to live with older children (10+) who are calm and respectful. Leo will need access to a garden away from busy roads so he can enjoy outdoor time safely once settled.

Leo is ready to leave his past behind and start his next chapter in a loving home; could that be with you?

Jerry

Male
15 years

Status: Available (DUR)

Bio: Jerry is a lovely older boy who is searching for a peaceful retirement home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort. He would be happiest in a quiet, calm household where he can relax and enjoy plenty of affection.

Jerry is very friendly and loves human company. He especially enjoys sitting in the sunshine and spending time outdoors, so access to a garden away from busy roads is essential. He may be able to live with another older, laid-back cat who matches his pace.

Jerry does have some ongoing medical needs, but support will be available from the trust to help with this. He also qualifies for our Golden Oldies scheme, making adoption extra rewarding for the right home.

We may also have video footage of some of the cats currently available for rehoming…

We are always looking for new foster homes for cats in our care, please read our fostering page for more information.
