Cats In Our Care

Last updated: 17th November 2025

This page offers a snapshot of the cats we currently have in our care, waiting for loving homes.

It’s regularly updated but the situation changes quickly and information is current on the day of posting – and is subject to change.

Even if one of these cats doesn’t catch your eye, the rehoming situation is fluid and we constantly have new cats becoming available, of all ages and temperaments.

Please do apply anyway, via the online form on the adoptions’ process page, and we will work with you to find you a great match.

If your application relates to kittens, please mark this on your application form as they aren’t usually advertised.

For a better understanding of the way we work please visit the Adoption Process page. You can also contact Adoptions on 07376 644085 (between 9am-5pm) or at [email protected].

Niko

Male
4 years

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: Niko is a 4-year-old adventurer with a sensitive heart. He’s blossomed beautifully in foster care and has shown himself to be a fairly playful little cat. He’ll need a patient adopter who will give him time to settle in and then enjoy the outdoors in a safe space, well away from busy roads. Niko prefers a quiet, adult-only home without other pets. Once he trusts you, you’ll see just how sweet this little guy can be.

See Niko on video in our Cats On Camera section.

Lucas

Male
6 years

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: Meet Lucas, a confident and cheeky 6 year old who’s full of personality and affection. Lucas is deaf so he needs a safe environment where he can thrive – ideally with a secure garden or catio or possibly a stimulating indoor home.

Lucas is a calm and happy boy, and enjoys human contact. He would prefer to be your one and only pet, and could do well in a home with older children who understand and respect his needs.

Lucas has a heart condition which is well managed by medication and for which the trust will give full support. This however, certainly does not prevent him from being lively and happy!

Lucas may not be able to hear you but he gives back tenfold with his charm and love. Could you be the safe haven he so deserves?

Dusty

Male
4 years

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: When Dusty first arrived in foster care he was shy and nervous, but thanks to the patience and love of his fosterer, his wonderful personality is now beginning to shine through.

He’s naturally affectionate and quietly curious; happiest when he can keep you company without being the centre of attention.

While he’s not a lap cat, Dusty loves to be nearby, often joining his fosterer in the office during the day or greeting you warmly when you return home. He enjoys a gentle stroke and can be tempted into play when he’s in the mood.

Dusty would suit a calm home without other pets, and could live happily as either an indoor cat (with enough space) or outdoors. Older children (11+) who understand when he needs space would be ideal.

Could you be the one to give Dusty the happy forever-home he deserves?

Horatio

Male
5 years

Status: Available (DUR)

Bio: Meet Horatio; a handsome gentleman looking for his forever home!

Horatio is a striking black cat, around 5 years old, who is now ready to find a new place to call home. He’s looking for a peaceful environment where he can settle in at his own pace.

He’ll need to be the only pet, as he prefers not to share his space with other animals.

Horatio would be most comfortable in a home with older children (14+) who can give him the respect and understanding he deserves.

Once he’s settled, Horatio will appreciate having access to a safe garden, where he can explore and spend time outdoors.

If you can offer a quiet, stable home and a bit of patience as he adjusts, Horatio could be the perfect companion to share your space and your days.

Brook

Male
7 years

Status: Available (DUR)

Bio: Brook is a lovely cat, aged 7, who enjoys both affection and playtime, especially when toys are involved. He’s a gentle soul who may be a little shy to begin with, but once he gets to know you, his affectionate and playful nature truly shines.

Brook would be happy in a home with children aged 8 and over, as long as they are kind and respectful. He would prefer to be the only pet, where he can have all the attention to himself.

He’ll also need access to a safe garden away from busy roads, where he can stretch his legs and enjoy some outdoor time once he’s settled in.

Could you offer Brook the loving home he so deserves?

Midge

Female
3.5 years

Status: Available (DUR)

Bio: Midge is a beautiful black cat with a soft, semi-long coat and a gentle nature. She enjoys affection and loves a bit of fuss, but will need some time and patience to settle into her new home and feel completely at ease.

She would like to be the only pet, where she can have all the love and attention to herself. Midge can live happily with children aged 5 and over, as long as they’re calm and respectful.

Once she’s comfortable, Midge will make a wonderful companion who enjoys both company and a bit of independence. She’ll also need access to a safe garden, where she can explore and enjoy the outdoors when she’s ready.

Could you give lovely Midge the caring forever home she’s been waiting for?

Monty

Male
2 years

Status: Available (DUR)

Bio: Monty is a lovely young cat with a gentle nature who enjoys a bit of fuss and attention. He’s looking for a quiet home where he can feel safe and settle at his own pace.

He would be happiest as the only pet, where he can have all the affection to himself. Monty can live with older children aged 8 and over who will treat him kindly and respectfully.

Once he’s comfortable, Monty will make a wonderful companion!

He’ll also need access to a safe garden, where he can relax and explore once he’s settled in.

Could Monty be the newest member of your family?

Luna

Female
5 years

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: Luna is a cat with character in every whisker. She’s expressive, lively, and full of charm; always ready to greet you at the door and share her thoughts about absolutely everything. Confident around people, she forms strong bonds and is looking for that special someone to become her person.

Playtime, exploring, and mealtimes are all high on her list of priorities, but nothing beats a good grooming session. A cosy evening pamper on the sofa would suit her perfectly.

As a classic tortie, Luna has a spicy streak. She can be a little “hissy missy” at times, and her claws may make the occasional appearance when she feels misunderstood. Because of this, she’s best suited to an experienced cat owner who knows how to respect feline boundaries and appreciates a cat with plenty of personality.

Luna needs a calm, child-free home where she can enjoy her space, her routines, and her independence. She could possibly live with a calm dog, but have not yet been tested with another feline friend. Once settled, she’ll also need safe outdoor access, away from busy roads.

If you’re looking for a companion with spark, spirit, and a whole lot of tortie attitude, Luna might just be your perfect match.

Nova

Female
2 years

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: Nova is a beautiful and affectionate 2-year old girl who’s ready to find a forever home filled with patience, love, and calm. She may be shy at first, but once she trusts you, she becomes a friendly companion who enjoys gentle cuddles and peaceful moments by your side.

She’s happiest when she has a safe, quiet space to retreat to indoors — and she’ll love access to a garden away from busy roads, where she can watch the birds or climb small trees. Nova is playful in her own quiet way, especially when chasing her favourite toy ball around the house.

Due to her naturally nervous nature, Nova would thrive in a calm home as the only pet. She could potentially live with older children who can respect her need for space and slow introductions. She has a mild skin condition that is well controlled with daily medication and a hypoallergenic diet. Her care routine is simple, and her foster family has found her very responsive to her treatment plan.

Nova has been in a loving foster home for the past year, building confidence and getting the support she needs. Now she’s ready to settle in with her forever family; could you be the one to give Nova the peaceful home she deserves?
