Cats In Our Care

Last updated: 19th January 2026

This page offers a snapshot of the cats we currently have in our care, waiting for loving homes.

It’s regularly updated but the situation changes quickly and information is current on the day of posting – and is subject to change.

Even if one of these cats doesn’t catch your eye, the rehoming situation is fluid and we constantly have new cats becoming available, of all ages and temperaments.

Please do apply anyway, via the online form on the adoptions’ process page, and we will work with you to find you a great match.

If your application relates to kittens, please mark this on your application form as they aren’t usually advertised.

For a better understanding of the way we work please visit the Adoption Process page. You can also contact Adoptions on 07376 644085 (between 9am-5pm) or at [email protected].

Niko

Male
4 years

Status: Reserved (FOS)

Bio: Niko is a 4-year-old adventurer with a sensitive heart. He’s blossomed beautifully in foster care and has shown himself to be a fairly playful little cat. He’ll need a patient adopter who will give him time to settle in and then enjoy the outdoors in a safe space, well away from busy roads. Niko prefers a quiet, adult-only home without other pets. Once he trusts you, you’ll see just how sweet this little guy can be.

See Niko on video in our Cats On Camera section.

Dusty

Male
4 years

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: When Dusty first arrived in foster care he was shy and nervous, but thanks to the patience and love of his fosterer, his wonderful personality is now beginning to shine through.

He’s naturally affectionate and quietly curious; happiest when he can keep you company without being the centre of attention.

Despite appearing not to be a lap cat at first, Dusty now spends his evenings sitting on his fosterer’s knee. He enjoys a gentle stroke and can be tempted into play when he’s in the mood.

Dusty would suit a calm home without other pets, and could live happily as either an indoor cat (with enough space) or outdoors. Older children (11+) who understand when he needs space would be ideal.

Could you be the one to give Dusty the happy forever-home he deserves?

See Dusty on video in our Cats On Camera section.

Lucas

Male
6 years

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: Meet Lucas, a confident and cheeky 6 year old who’s full of personality and affection.

Lucas is deaf so he needs a safe environment where he can thrive – ideally with a secure garden or catio or possibly a stimulating indoor home.

He prefers to be your one and only pet and could do well in a home with older children who understand and respect his needs.

Lucas has a heart condition which is well managed by medication and for which the trust will give full support. This however, certainly does not prevent him from being lively and happy!

Lucas may not be able to hear you but he gives back tenfold with his charm and love. Could you be the safe haven he so deserves?

Sooty

Male
2 years

Status: Adopted (EP)

Bio: Sooty is a sweet, affectionate boy who adores a fuss and human company. He’s gentle and caring, making him a great match for a family with children aged 5 and over.

Sooty would like to be the only pet in the home, as he isn’t confident around other cats. He’ll also need access to a safe garden, where he can explore and enjoy the outdoors once he’s settled.

With a little love and attention, Sooty will make a lovely companion.

Chester

Male
9 years

Status: Available (EP)

Bio: Chester is a handsome ginger boy who enjoys affection and attention once he feels comfortable. He can be a little unsure with new people at first, but once settled he loves fuss and companionship.

Chester would be happiest as the only pet, as he seems unsure of other cats. He is also suitable for a home with older children, and he’ll benefit from a garden to explore safely.

This lovely boy has plenty of love to give and will reward a patient, understanding family with companionship and purrs.

Dylan

Male
9 months

Status: Available (DUR)

Bio: Dylan is a lively and curious young boy who is starting to show more of his playful side. While he can still be a little cautious at first, his affectionate nature shines through once he feels comfortable.

He’s looking for a quiet home with people around often, where he can settle in at his own pace and enjoy attention and playtime in a safe environment. Dylan would be happiest with older children who can give him space when he needs it.

He hasn’t been fully tested with other cats, but he may be able to live with a calm, gentle feline companion, introduced slowly and carefully.

With patience, love, and a steady routine, Dylan will thrive, becoming a devoted and playful companion to his new family.

Cosmo

Male
3 years

Status: Adopted (FOS)

Bio: Meet Cosmo– your new little shadow.

Aged 3, this curious, adventurous boy has had a tough start, but you’d never know it from his playful spirit and big heart.

He’s endlessly inquisitive, always keen to see what you’re up to, and will happily trail you from room to room just to keep you company.

He loves people — cuddles, fuss, attention… all welcome. If you sit down, expect him to curl up on you (or very politely beside you) for a snuggle. He’s the kind of cat who genuinely enjoys being around you and makes a house feel like a home.

He’s never been outdoors, but he spends a lot of time gazing out the window dreaming of adventures, so with a gentle introduction he’d love to explore the outside world one day.

He’s friendly with other animals too, and could thrive with a playful, calm cat — or as your one-and-only sidekick.

If you’re looking for a loving, playful, people-oriented cat with a bit of sparkle and a lot of affection to give, he might just be your perfect match.

Rupert

Male
16 years

Status: Available (LAN)

Bio: Are you an experienced cat owner who’d love to turn an older cat’s life around, despite a few challenges?

16-year-old Rupert is a sociable and affectionate boy who loves human company and needs an owner who won’t leave him alone for long periods, at least at first.

He is quite vocal and may “overcommunicate” while he’s settling in and so he may not be suitable for a flat or smaller property. He is not happy with other cats and would need to be an only pet and in a calm household, possibly with older children. He would like a garden away from busy roads to wander in at his leisure.

Are you the one to give Rupert a chance?

Rupert will be supported by our Golden Oldies scheme.

Luna

Female
3 years

Status: Available (LAN)

Bio: Meet 3-year-old Luna who’s looking for a patient and experienced owner who is willing to give this beautiful tortie girl a chance.

Luna is very friendly but like some tortoiseshell cats, she has a feisty independent side to her character and can exhibit challenging behaviours when over-stimulated or over-excited.

She would be best suited to a calm, adult only home and could possibly be rehomed with another cat with a similar temperament and with very careful introductions.

She has never been outdoors but in her new home she would benefit from outside access to a garden away from busy roads. Are you the one to take on this beautiful tortie girl?

We would be happy to consider foster for an initial period as an alternative to full adoption. For more information about how our fostering scheme works, and the full support offered, please click here: Foster For Us.

Horatio

Male
5 years

Status: Available (LAN)

Bio: Meet 5-year-old Horatio who’s looking for a patient, experienced owner who will give him the time and opportunity to overcome some initial issues with challenging behaviour, allowing him to show his true loving and affectionate nature.

He would prefer an adult-only home in a quieter area where he is able to relax and gain confidence as he is easily scared by unfamiliar sounds and loud noise and which unfortunately brings out some difficult behaviours brought on by fear. With this in mind he would also be best suited as an only pet.

He’d need a garden to explore away from busy roads. Are you willing to give Horatio a chance and have the patience and perseverance to allow him to show his true self?

We would be happy to consider foster for an initial period as an alternative to full adoption. For more information about how our fostering scheme works, and the full support offered, please click here: Foster For Us.

Pepper

Female
2 years

Status: Available (LAN)

Bio: Pepper is a beautiful long-haired girl with a calm, easy-going nature. While she’s relaxed once she feels comfortable, she can be nervous in new situations and around unfamiliar people, so she’ll need a little time and patience to settle in and build her confidence.

Because of her sensitive nature, Pepper would be best suited to a home with older children (14+) who can be gentle and understanding. With careful, slow introductions, she may be able to live with another cat of a similar calm temperament.

Pepper will also need access to a garden away from busy roads, where she can enjoy the outdoors once she feels secure in her new surroundings.

Anna

Female
2.5 years

Status: Available (DUR)

Bio: Anna is a very pretty, petite girl with striking grey and white markings. She is naturally shy and nervous and will need a quiet, understanding home with someone who has the time and patience to allow her to settle and gradually build her confidence.

Once Anna learns to trust you, her true nature shines through; she becomes a sweet, affectionate companion who enjoys fuss and gentle attention.

She would be best suited to a home with older children (14+) who are calm, respectful, and able to give her the space she needs. Anna must be the only pet, as she’s happiest when she doesn’t have to share her environment.

Anna will also need access to a garden away from busy roads, where she can explore once she feels secure.

We may also have video footage of some of the cats currently available for rehoming…

We are always looking for new foster homes for cats in our care, please read our fostering page for more information.
