Cats In Our Care

Last updated: 4th March 2026

This page offers a snapshot of the cats we currently have in our care, waiting for loving homes.

It’s regularly updated but the situation changes quickly and information is current on the day of posting – and is subject to change.

Even if one of these cats doesn’t catch your eye, the rehoming situation is fluid and we constantly have new cats becoming available, of all ages and temperaments.

Please do apply anyway, via the online form on the Adoption Process page, and we will work with you to find you a great match.

If your application relates to kittens, please mark this on your application form as they aren’t usually advertised.

For a better understanding of the way we work please visit the Adoption Process page. You can also contact Adoptions on 07376 644085 (between 9am-5pm) or at [email protected].

Horatio

Male
5 years

Status: Available (LAN)

Bio: Meet 5-year-old Horatio who’s looking for a patient, experienced owner who will give him the time and opportunity to overcome some initial issues with challenging behaviour, allowing him to show his true loving and affectionate nature.

He would prefer an adult-only home in a quieter area where he is able to relax and gain confidence as he is easily scared by unfamiliar sounds and loud noise and which unfortunately brings out some difficult behaviours brought on by fear. With this in mind he would also be best suited as an only pet.

He’d need a garden to explore away from busy roads. Are you willing to give Horatio a chance and have the patience and perseverance to allow him to show his true self?

We would be happy to consider foster for an initial period as an alternative to full adoption. For more information about how our fostering scheme works, and the full support offered, please click here: Foster For Us.

Willow

Female
10 years

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: Willow is a lovely, large-framed girl who is looking for a quiet, peaceful home where she can settle in at her own pace. She can be a little shy at first, but with patience and understanding, she becomes a gentle, rewarding companion.

Once she feels comfortable, Willow enjoys spending time close by and will happily sit on a lap for a fuss, letting you know when she’s had enough. She’s calm, well-mannered, and easy to have around, making her a great match for someone who appreciates a quieter presence.

Willow needs to be the only pet, where she can have all the attention and space she needs. She would be happiest in a calm home, either adult-only or possibly with older children, and would enjoy access to a safe garden away from busy roads, where she can potter about in her own time.

See Willow on video in our Cats on Camera section.

Loki

Male
15 months

Status: Available (LAN)

Bio: Loki is a young cat who will be nervous and shy at first but once he gains his confidence with patient and understanding adopters he will show his really friendly nature and be a lovely companion.

He needs to be the only pet and would be best suited to an adult only home or possibly with older teenagers who are calm and respectful and where the household is not too busy. He will need to have the benefit of a separate decompression room at first and with time and patience will soon show his true nature. He would like a garden to explore away from busy roads.

See Loki on video in our Cats on Camera section.

Kevin

Male
1 year

Status: Available (LAN)

Bio: Meet Kevin, the stray cat who spent the best part of a month, locked in a garage before being rescued by WCWT and previously kept alive by kind neighbours who fed him under the door.

Bedraggled, underweight and naturally wary of humans, he’s made good progress in our care and is now ready for a permanent home.

As a result of everything he’s endured, Kevin needs a very patient, experienced owner who can give him time to settle and hopefully rebuild his trust.

It won’t be a “quick fix” but rehabilitating stray cats can be incredibly rewarding, longer term.

We think Kevin needs an adult-only, quiet home, or maybe one with much older teenagers. He should be OK with another cat, subject to careful introductions.

He will also need outdoor access, once he’s settled. His new home needs to be a good distance from Durrington, where he was originally found, as he may try to go back there.

See Kevin on video in our Cats on Camera section.

Luna

Female
5 years

Status: Available (LAN)

Bio: Luna is a cat packed full of personality. She’s loving, feisty, cheeky and very talkative. She’ll greet you at the door and tell you all about her day. While she’s confident around people, she definitely plays favorites and she’s searching for someone to become her forever favorite.

Aged 5, she loves to play, eat and explore; but she especially loves being brushed. A pamper on the couch at the end of night would be her ideal.

Like a typical tortoise shell, she is quite the hissy missy. She will require an experienced owner who can accept that her claws may come out every now and again. Because of this, she’s best suited to an experienced cat owner in a calm, child-free home where her quirks and boundaries will be understood.”

Luna will need outdoor access, away from very busy roads.

We may also have video footage of some of the cats currently available for rehoming…

We are always looking for new foster homes for cats in our care, please read our fostering page for more information.
