Cats In Our Care

Last updated: 6th June 2025

For a better understanding of the way we work please visit the Adoption Process page. You can also contact Adoptions on 07376 644085 (between 9am-5pm) or at [email protected].

We are currently looking for homes for a small number of indoor cats and for cats who require rehoming where there is access to a secure garden or catio.  If you are interested in finding out more and meet the criteria, please fill in our application form to adopt which you will find on our website. All applications are subject to a home check and will be assessed on an individual basis. If you are considering rehoming an indoor cat you will need plenty of space with secure windows and be able to offer the cat companionship and appropriate stimulus. A donation is payable upon adoption.

Marianella

Female
Only pet
Only pet
No children

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: Marianella is a beautiful 6-year-old lady with soft tabby and white fur and a gentle personality. She’s a quiet, sensitive soul who just needs a little time and patience to show her true nature. Once she feels safe, her affectionate and playful side begins to shine—she especially loves playing with her toys!

Marianella would prefer being the only pet in a calm home with someone who’s around often and willing to let her settle at her own pace. She hasn’t had much outdoor experience yet, but with gentle encouragement, she’d enjoy access to a safe, secure garden where she can explore the world at her own speed.

She deserves a second chance with someone who truly understands that rescue cats may need time to trust—but once she does, Marianella will return your love! Due to her shy nature, she would prefer a home without children. If you’re looking for a quiet, loyal companion to share your home and heart, Marianella could be the perfect match.

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: Niko is a 4-year-old adventurer with a sensitive heart. He’s blossomed beautifully in foster care and has shown himself to be a fairly playful little cat. He’ll need a patient adopter who will give him time to settle in and then enjoy the outdoors in a safe space, well away from busy roads. Niko prefers a quiet, adult-only home without other pets. Once he trusts you, you’ll see just how sweet this little guy can be.

Child-friendly

Status: Available (EP)

Bio: Looking for double the love? Bertie and George are a charming pair of 9-year-old brothers who are completely devoted to each other and must be adopted together. These big, handsome boys have hearts as large as their paws!

Bertie is outgoing and always ready for cuddles, while George, who is deaf, leans on his brother for comfort and companionship. Because of George’s hearing loss, he needs to be rehomed where he will be safe such as a secure garden or home with a catio—ideally in a quiet, rural area far from busy roads.

These boys seem to adore children and could thrive in a family where they get plenty of fuss and friendship. They do need to be the only pets in the home, as they prefer to have all the love to themselves.

Status: Available (DUR)

Bio: Tootsie is a sweet 8-year-old girl with a gentle soul and a curious spirit.

After facing some hard times, she’s now ready to settle into a peaceful, loving home where she can be the only pet. This lovely lady dreams of a quiet life—some sunshine, a safe garden to explore (away from busy roads), and a soft spot to nap the day away.

She would prefer a tranquil, adult-only home with patient people who can offer her the time, love, and understanding she truly deserves.

Tootsie may be shy at first, but with a little TLC, her affectionate nature will shine through. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share quiet moments and peaceful days, Toothless is ready to meet you.

Status: Available (EP)

Bio: Meet Marmalade, a stunning 14-year-old, long-haired ginger and white gentleman. This golden oldie may be shy at first, but with a little patience, he’ll reward you with quiet companionship. Marmalade prefers a calm, peaceful home as the only pet and without children, where he can relax and feel safe.

He needs daily brushing (which he’s not overly fond of!) and is on a special urinary diet—ongoing support with this will be provided by the Trust. Marmalade dreams of a safe garden away from busy roads, where he can enjoy the fresh air at his own pace.

Marmalade will be supported by our Golden Oldies scheme, and can be seen on video in our Cats on Camera section.

They’ll need regular grooming to keep their beautiful coats in top shape, and a safe garden for outdoor exploring. Theo and Lola are looking for a home as only pets, and would be happy in a family with children aged 5 and above who are kind and cat-savvy.

Oreo would be able to live in a household with children of all ages and loves a fuss and playing with his toys and interacting with humans.

Status: Available (DUR)

Bio: Milo is a charming and confident 3-year old boy with a heart full of love and a playful sparkle in his eye. He’s affectionate, friendly, and likes attention – whether it’s cuddles, chin rubs, or a good play session with his favourite toys.

He can be a fantastic companion for a family, including those with children. Milo may be able to live with another gentle-natured cat or a calm dog, but he’ll need slow, careful introductions and lots of patience to settle into these new relationships.

Milo would love a home with access to a secure garden where he can explore, stretch his legs, and soak up the sunshine.

If you’re looking for a fun feline friend to brighten your days, Milo might just be your perfect match.

Children 12+

Status: Available (FOS)

Bio: Nova is a beautiful and affectionate 2-year old girl who’s ready to find a forever home filled with patience, love, and calm. She may be shy at first, but once she trusts you, she becomes a friendly companion who enjoys gentle cuddles and peaceful moments by your side.

She’s happiest when she has a safe, quiet space to retreat to indoors — and she’ll love access to a secure garden where she can watch the birds or climb small trees. Nova is playful in her own quiet way, especially when chasing her favourite toy ball around the house.

Due to her naturally nervous nature, Nova would thrive in a calm home as the only pet. She could potentially live with older children who can respect her need for space and slow introductions. She has a mild skin condition that is well controlled with daily medication and a hypoallergenic diet. Her care routine is simple, and her foster family has found her very responsive to her treatment plan.

Nova has been in a loving foster home for the past year, building confidence and getting the support she needs. Now she’s ready to settle in with her forever family; could you be the one to give Nova the peaceful home she deserves?

Status: Available (LAN)

Bio: Loki is a sweet-natured, one-year-old girl with a lovely mix of affection and independence. She enjoys cuddles on her terms but also loves having time to do her own thing; the perfect balance for someone who wants a friendly companion without a full-time lap cat.

Loki could be great with children aged 8 and up, and could potentially live with a calm, friendly cat or dog (with a gentle introduction). She loves the outdoors, so she’ll need safe access to explore outside.

If you’re looking for a low-maintenance friend with a kind heart and a curious spirit, Loki might just be your perfect match!

She will need safe access to the outdoors for exploring and staying stimulated. She can live with older, respectful children (14+), but prefers to be the only pet in the house.

Bio: Kosmo is a 1-year-old bundle of love; full of charm, cuddles, and playful energy! He absolutely adores people, especially children, and will happily be your little shadow, always ready for affection and fun.

Kosmo needs to stay on a special urinary diet, but that should be easy to manage. He would much prefer to be the only pet in your house; he deserves to be the centre of your world after being bullied in his last home.

Kosmo is looking for a forever family who’ll shower him with love — and who he’ll love right back with all his heart.

They are both friendly with people and children but do not want to live with dogs. They can be rehomed together or separately.

Whether you’re looking for a dynamic duo or just the right match for your home, Bambi and Nala are full of love and waiting to meet their forever family.

Lucas is deaf, so he’ll need a safe environment where he can thrive—ideally with a secure garden or a ‘catio’ to satisfy his curiosity.
